If not for bad luck, we wouldn't have any

We are hard-working people who recently have been hit by one disaster after another.  We have had to put so much money into our truck that we have now broken ourselves.

Finally, when we think we are getting ahead of the game, we hit a metal piece that someone had dropped in the road.  We blew the stear tire, which shattered into pieces, ripping the front of the truck apart.

Now we are sitting in Phoenix, Arizona, wondering how we will pay the tow bill and where we will come up with the money to pay the deductible.  Additionally, we have to accommodate and feed ourselves, and pay our bills while the insurance company gets things together.

Just when we thought we were going to be okay and this happens.
