Hello, my name is Cory. I would like to start out by saying this is something I wouldn't normally do.

Long story short, I was diagnosed with a severe case of chrohn's disease more than 10 years ago. I was in remission for almost the entire time after. Until the last few years when everything started to spiral out of control.

Life hasn't been easy, I've suffered a house fire right before the birth of my son and losing everything. To being hospitalized more than 6 times in the last 3 years for a worsening condition. For some reason I keep my head up, I love my family. I pray every day for their safety. I'm a young father of a little boy who will be turning 5 this year. Also a step father to an amazing trio of kids, and an amazing supporting girlfriend.

After years of a multiple hospital stays I've acquired quite a few extensive hospital bills... with lost hours, pay, even jobs from being sick, it hasn't been easy. But I'm hoping a new medication will soon be the final answer to all of this.

I don't want to ask for help. I don't even know if someone will read this. But if someone does... just know anything would help and be greatly appreciated. Even if they're just kind words.

Update: currently in the hospital.. I will have a very tough week ahead of me.. tomorrow I'll have an N.G tube inserted in preparation for a major surgery taking place on Wednesday.
