Idra went into labor on Sunday and delivered a stillborn. It was clear that she was having difficulty with her next kitten and was rushed into the hospital. Ultrasound and x-rays showed one very large kitten that could not pass.
Surgery has been scheduled for Monday and Idra went back to her foster home but started to get very sick, vomiting and bleeding. Idra was rushed back into the hospital where they will try to keep her stable through the night with medication and IV fluids since there is no surgeon available and to call one in would cost up to $7,000.
Surgery tomorrow for the c-section and to be spayed is expected to be $1,000. Idra will also need help to cover her hospital visit along with her overnight stay. We are estimating costs to be $3,100. Please consider helping Idra. This kitty momma has been through a lot.
