Idgy Dean is my one-woman psych rock band that packs conveniently into a magical suitcase. Nicknamed the KALI BOX (after the Hindu Goddess emblazoned on its exterior), this magical suitcase has enabled me to independently produce, travel, and perform my music solo across the USA and abroad for a solid decade.
Sadly, the KALI BOX has mysteriously disappeared from the trunk of my car. The contents of this special suitcase included every little instrument that I use to write, record, and perform my music live in the precise and unique way that I do : my loop pedal, guitar pedal, mixer, drum mics, vocal mic, clips, cables, 9-band EQ, DI boxes, notes, lyrics, mantras (they even took a box of IDGY tees ♀️)
Fortunately, my guitar, synth, and drums are safe and sound, but it feels like having body parts without a brain... The good news, though, is that every missing item is replaceable, and that I still have what matters most: my heart, my head, my hands, and the love and support of my community.
With your help, I'm hoping to replenish the contents of the KALI BOX before June 2019, so that Idgy Dean can get back onstage ASAP and continue to deliver musically mesmerizing shows for all.
Any dollar amount helps, whether it's $5 going toward something as simple as a pair of drum sticks, or a couple hundred bucks to help replace my rare looping pedal or precious Telefunken M80 vocal mic.
