iDance Fundraiser

Dear iDance Family and Friends,

iDance Vancouver was first established in 2008 and is owned by Amanda Hemmaway. Over the years, iDance has touched the lives of many people who wanted to dance in a fun, friendly, and welcoming environment.  Under Amanda’s direction, iDance has become a respected leader in the dance community and has supported the careers of emerging and established instructors.

Amanda and the iDance instructors work hard on a continuous basis to ensure that our dance experience is safe, positive, fulfilling and challenging at a level we can handle.



We have started a Go Fund Me because we want to show our support for Amanda and her team. With the pandemic and the second wave underway, all of the funds raised will be used to invest in the future of iDance as it adapts to a different reality. This will enable Amanda to continue to grow and sustain her business which now has 2 locations, Mt. Pleasant and Kits, and also offers virtual classes. The Kits location recently celebrated their 1 year anniversary.

iDance is more than just a place to take a class. It is a place where dancers of all ages, backgrounds and levels come together to dance, laugh, have fun, sweat and enjoy a break from our day. It is a community where many friendships have formed and endured.

If the iDance community has brought you as much joy and happiness as it has brought us, we ask you to show Amanda your support. We have set a goal of $10,000.00 by November 30, 2020. If we have 1000 people donate just $10 each, we would be able to achieve our goal. We would also put together a celebration to say Thank You and show our appreciation and gratitude.

We know it is a tough time financially for a lot of people. A word of support and/or passing this on would also be greatly appreciated!

iDance Family – past and present, near and far, please help Amanda continue to provide a safe place for us to dance in with freedom and enjoyment. We can all play a part in the growth of iDance at a local and global level!
