We are Idaho Falls Firefighters I.A.F.F. Local 1565, organizing this fundraiser on behalf of the families of the fallen and injured firefighters from the tragic incident in North Idaho. On June 29, EMS personnel were ambushed while responding to a brush fire. This horrific event took the lives of Battalion Chief Frank Harwood and Battalion Chief John Morrison, while Captain Dave Tysdal remains in critical condition. These brave individuals were not only firefighters they were parents, spouses, neighbors, and valued members of their communities. Our goal is to ease some of the financial burdens these families are facing. Donations raised here will go toward: Funeral and memorial costs for the fallen firefighters Support for the injured firefighter and their family Trauma and grief support services Any additional needs that may arise for the affected families All funds will be delivered directly to the families through trusted local fire department contacts and community partners we’re working with.
