In Loving Memory of My Mom

Hi everyone,

It’s with a heavy heart that I share that my mom has passed away. She was one of the most loving, intelligent, creative, and strong women I’ve ever known. Her spirit touched so many lives, and she dedicated so much of her time to fighting for justice for children and the people of the city of Newark. She truly made an impact on her community and inspired everyone who knew her.

As her only child, this loss has been incredibly hard. My mom did not have life insurance, and I’m doing my best to cover the expenses for her funeral and memorial services on my own. I’m asking for any help — no matter how big or small — to help give her the beautiful homegoing she deserves.
