Ida Flood at Boulevard Deli in Middlesex, NJ

Hi, my name is Megan and I am setting this up to help my parents.

Their Deli and catering business (Jim’s Boulevard Deli in Middlesex, NJ 08846) got 7 feet of water in the basement of their building due to Hurricane Ida. They have been owners of the deli in the community for over 20 years.

Everything in the basement is destroyed and insurance won’t cover anything since they were not in a flood zone. They lost all the supplies they have been stock piling due to products being unavailable from COVID, 3 hot water heaters, 2 furnaces, 2 freezers, 3 compressors for deli cases, leaf blower, stand up heaters, possible electrical issues from water damage.

The tenants who live in the building currently do not have gas to cook or hot water to shower.

Money would be used to clean out the destroyed items, restoration of the basement and replace what was lost. We know this flood and the past few years have been hard on everyone, but every dollar is appreciated. If you cannot donate, please share our GoFundMe page!
