Ida Emergency Relief for the Griffin Family

Donation protected

As many of you have seen and heard, Hurricane Ida devastated much of Southeastern Louisiana. Ida made initial landfall at Port Fourchon, which is where most of the Griffin family is located. We, like many Louisianians in this area, are working class. We're a resilient bunch who've grown up living off of the land and coastal waters, and right now we're in urgent need of mutual aid. We are without power and water, and hospitals are closed due to severe damage to infrastructure. Many have lost their homes in the storm's wake. News coverage is focusing on New Orleans, but those most impacted are in small towns like Galliano, Golden Meadow, Leeville, and Grand Isle. Little news coverage often means less aid. Your assistance will make a direct impact to a family in desperate need of food, water, housing, gasoline for generators, and medical supplies. Aid will be sent directly to the creator of this page (Lauren "LaGriff" Griffin), and will be distributed to my family members. Thank you (from the bottom of my Southern heart) for your kindness and generosity.
