ICU Beds Needed- Markham Stouffville Hospital

On April 19th, 2021, I had to make a call to 911 for my father. The most scariest feeling for my whole entire family. My Fathers name is Rocco. He is known as a caring, dedicated, wonderful, loving person and much more. He was rushed to Markham Stouffville Hospital via Ambulance. He was then placed in ICU for treatment for COVID-19.  As careful as we all had been, unfortunately COVID-19 ripped through our Families lives. On April  21st, 2021, he was put on Life Support in a medically Induced Coma . He has had such amazing Nurses and Doctors that have and are still caring for him. Yesterday was his birthday May 4th, and he was finally woken up and removed from life support.Best Birthday Gift for him. As of now it's day by day to get him better and back home.  At the time my father was admitted their was already a major shortage of ICU beds and patients being transported to other far away hospitals. I'm thankful my father was able to stay there.  The reason for this fundraiser is for Markham Stouffville ICU UNIT. They are in great need of ICU beds as their is a huge shortage for COVID -19 Patients and even other life-threatening illnesses. Generous donations will help save the lives of Both COVID-19 patients and the other patients in critical conditions. The cost of one ICU bed is $40,000 and they are in need of 12 more beds to meet the urgent demand these days.

I thank all the Front Line workers for everything they do daily for everyone. I especially thank ICU Unit at the Markham Stouffville Hospital for being there for my Father. His our King and our Rock of the Family. We love you DAD and can't wait to get you home soon.
