Hi,

My name is David Reed Akolgo, an international student at Ball State University, Muncie, Indianapolis in the United States.

I come from a community called Yelwoko in rural Ghana.

This community once had a library through the initiative of the American Peace Corps. This library was the source of reading for the community and other adjourning communities as well. Unfortunately, the library is in ruins and cannot support students anymore in their quest to get quality education. There is no reading place for students and community members anymore.

As an educationist, I want to bring back the community library in a modern style by:

1. Building a new library block because the old building is dilapidated and cannot serve as a library building anymore.

2. Stocking it with at least 20 computers.

3 . Provide an Internet facility so students can use it as a learning tool since the world has evolved making computers and the Internet great tools for learning.

I need you to help me get this facility for the community and other adjourning villages to facilitate learning.

Please help empower the rural child today.
