Hello! I am honored the be the music teacher at the amazing Independence Charter School in Center City Philadelphia. My name is Craig Waxman.
We want to start our ICS Instrumental Music Program this year. We have the staff and we have the students...we even have the music stands! What we need is instruments!
While some families have the resources to rent or purchase an instrument from a music store, others do not. And this should not be a factor. If a students is interested and dedicated they should have their own instrument so they can learn. With your donation we will purchase 10 full-sized student violins and the appropriate method books and accessories. These instruments will be used by committed, responsible students who have already studied violin for 2 years.
