Thank you for supporting the HOPAC U18 Boys and Girls football (soccer) teams!

This group of 25 students have worked hard all season (soccer season began in September 2019) and have been selected to represent our school, Haven of Peace Academy (HOPAC), at the International Christian Schools of Africa (ICSA) annual tournament taking place at Heritage International School in Kampala, Uganda. The tournament brings together 6 international Christian schools from the continent of Africa (schools from Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, and Kenya) and provides a highly competitive tournament that also encourages and provides an environment for students to grow in their relationship with the Lord.

I am organizing and leading the group from HOPAC which will include 25 students and 4 adult coaches/chaperones. We also have some parents that will be traveling with us as well. The cost is $300 per student with the main cost being flights to and from Uganda.  My hope is to raise at least $3000 to provide full scholarships to some students that need it and use the remaining money to help reduce the cost for other families that could benefit from a lower amount. I will be joining in to help in this way too because I believe it is a worthwhile investment in these students' and families' lives.

This will be my second year involved in the tournament and I am excited! The experience it provides our students is extremely valuable and I sincerely thank you for wanting to be a part of it!
