ICKS- A Howard Thesis Film
Donation protected
Greetings Everyone!
We are beyond excited to announce ICKS, a Howard University senior thesis film directed by Ellison Estwick and produced by Jasmine Smith & Azariah Grant.
ICKS is a dark comedy that follows a young woman named Ronnie who witnesses a fight between her best friend Imani and her spoiled rich boyfriend Quinn. When this altercation seems to head from verbal to physical fast, to protect Imani, the two accidentally kill Quinn and decide to hide his body. However, covering up the murder proves to be difficult when an otherworldly being decides to take over Quinn’s form and subsequently his life. This short satire explores themes of class and social standing as they apply to romantic and platonic relationships within the Black community.
We would greatly appreciate any donations to help us create this short film.
