Icey and Co X Seaglass Ministries

Donation protected
Icey and Co is partnering with Seaglass Ministries located in St. Thomas Jamaica to raise money for their non profit organization. Seaglass Ministries works towards bettering the lives of the people living in St. Thomas by providing job opportunities, feeding the elderly, sponsoring children, and so much more. They are currently working towards opening an orphanage called Hope’s House. They recently built the orphanage and are in the process of opening. They need $2,000 a month to run the orphanage and this is where we can help. The Icey fundraiser for Seaglass Ministries is setting the goal at $3000 by February 1st. This way we can work with Seaglass Ministries to not only help them start their orphanage but get a local school the basic supplies they need. While Seaglass can provide these children with an education, the school still needs pencils, books, paper, notebooks, e.t.c. We are looking to raise $2,500 to give directly to Hope’s House and an extra $500 to give to Harvest Hill Christian Prep School, where Seaglass is extremely hands-on and is also on the board of education. If you would like to learn more about Seaglass Ministries and what they do, follow the link here: https://www.seaglassministries.com.

Icey and Co is coming out with an exclusive t-shirt that is only $12 and 100% of the profits are going to Seaglass. If you don’t want to buy an Icey exclusive t- shirt you may donate here.  Recently the Waukesha community has been through a lot. However, many have stepped up and found a way to grow even stronger. Icey and Co wants to give back and that's why this fundraiser started.

Ethan Ladd, one of the founders of Icey and Co is traveling to Jamaica in February and together we decided to try to accomplish something more than just a vacation. “I have been traveling to Jamaica all my life and have seen the Jamaican struggle first hand so this is very close to me and the company.” - Ethan Ladd. Family friend Ava Nielsen, who is the granddaughter of the founders of Seaglass Ministries has also been to Jamaica throughout her entire life doing missionary work. She will be accompanying Ethan to St. Thomas where they will go into Harvest Prep Christian school and donate school supplies in person. Ava, who has grown up seeing the community develop, also knows that “The people are desperate for help.” $3000 is a lot of money but we have faith that our community will come together and step up to help the people in Jamaica.

This is truly such a great cause and our friend Abby Carlson created an awesome design that we know you’ll love.
