My name is Franyelis, I am a 28-year-old pregnant mother of two from Venezuela. My husband and I fled our country when our fruit grocery store was threatened by gang members for money. We felt unsafe and fled to America.

We were allowed into the country and applied for asylum with the Biden Administration in 2024.

While at an asylum court hearing on Sept 18, my husband was taken by ICE. He was the sole breadwinner for our family, and now we are struggling to survive. We cannot afford, rent groceries for our children, and we are searching for legal assistance.
