My name is Ini, and I run Technologist Computers, a social enterprise based in Minneapolis. Our mission is to provide IT support for small and medium-sized businesses, and as a consultant with Elevate Hennepin, I’m able to offer up to 25 hours of IT consulting at no cost. But right now, our community is facing extraordinary challenges. My shop is located at George Floyd Square, just six minutes from where Renee Good was murdered and eight minutes from where Alex Pretti was murdered. The recent ICE occupation has made things even harder for local businesses, many of whom are struggling to stay open.
I see firsthand how these events have impacted my neighbors and fellow business owners. Many are worried about making rent, covering payroll, or keeping up with essential expenses like website subscriptions, hardware, software, marketing, and insurance. I want to do more than just offer IT support—I want to help these businesses cover the costs that are threatening their survival. Every dollar raised will go directly to helping Minnesota businesses weather this storm and keep their doors open.
I’m asking for your help. Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser with your network. Your support can make a real difference for our community, helping local businesses survive, recover, and continue serving the people who depend on them. Together, we can show that even in the toughest times, we stand by our neighbors.
