You know things have seriously changed when heavily armed, masked men can pick up people on the street, throw them into an unmarked vehicle, and take them away to who-knows-where, all without any warrant or even identifying themselves. This has got to stop!

I am running the LA Marathon on March 8th, and I’m raising money for West Los Repuesta Rapida. This is an organization that provides alerts to their community when I.C.E. agents are spotted and provides material support to families that are being torn apart by the government’s insane, anti-immigrant deportation frenzy. I will be sending out a link so you can track my progress during the Marathon. This will be my sixth marathon, but the first in 7 years. I ran in 2003, 2006, 2008, 2011, and 2019. Assuming I complete this one, I will have run marathons in my 50s, 60s, and 70s. Wish me luck.
