iCARE Health Care Lab
Donation protected
Bing Wong Elementary School is developing a new health careers exploration lab. We are a leader in career pathway preparation programs at the K-6 level. Our school focuses on introducing kids to a wide range of career possibilities through standards based lessons. Students learn required academic subjects and practice 21st Century skills while tackling problems that expose kids to many professions within an industry sector.

Our approach is so innovative that we have been asked to help develop the standard by which elementary schools in California are recognized for their career pathway programs.

To complete our alignment with Curtis Middle School and Indian Springs High School where our students advance, Bing Wong Elementary needs approximately $130,000 to equip our new iCARE lab. This exciting new career exploration center will allow nearly 4000 elementary school students over the next six years to be immersed in a variety of health care careers, so kids can see more opportunities for their futures.

Envisioning an attainable future is a key ingredient of the recipe that makes hope happen. You can help make the iCARE lab and engaging education more possible for the kids from one of San Bernardino’s most impoverished neighborhoods.
