Duane Freeman's Cancer Fund

My brother Duane Freeman, a lifelong Kodiak resident and fisherman, was diagnosed with metastatic malignant melanoma in December of 2013.  Since that time he has undergone multiple brain surgeries, hospitalizations, radiation and chemotherapy.   Since his diagnosis Duane has not been able to work. He has been blessed beyond measure by a few very generous friends and family members.  We are hoping to raise some additional funds to help with his living expenses and travel expenses for family members to care for him in Anchorage.  

It has been a very difficult year for Duane, but as anyone who knows him can attest, his attitude has always been amazing.  That has not changed.  He is still upbeat and enjoying the little things in life.  He keeps us all laughing and reminds us everyday why we love this man so dearly.
