My name is Sophie Sharp, I’m 12 years old, and a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu fighter under retired UFC fighter Kurt Pellegrino. Since starting 2 years ago, I live and breath Jiu Jitsu, and I have dreams to be the youngest Jiu Jitsu World Champion!
In order to reach my goal, I need to start competing in the biggest tournaments. June 29th in Las Vegas Nevada is my first big tournament, IBJJF American National, and I’m working to make sure I bring home the gold.
I train hard; 25+ hours a week on the mats and at the gym. I homeschool so I can make my dreams come true and I still maintain a straight A average.
I’m doing everything I can, and working so hard, but I still need some help financially to get to the tournament! I would really appreciate whatever you could afford to help me out.
