Ibiza Half Marathon for Great North Air Ambulance

I've always wanted to run a half-marathon, but as yet, haven't done it. When one of my best friends suggested that we run the Ibiza Half Marathon, I jumped on it and decided that now is the time! I always had it in my head that when I did my first half-marathon, I'd run it in aid of the Great North Air Ambulance. They're a charity very close to my heart, and the fact that they're a charity at all continues to baffle me given how essential they are.

I've been living in Spain for over half a year now, but my true home will always be the North East of England. Running a half-marathon on the Spanish island of Ibiza in aid of a truly special North East charity seemed like a great way to tie those things together!
