This is the 4th year we are running the Iba Camara Summer Camp in Senegal, West Africa. The ICSC is a basketball camp for less fortunate kids and a place where young athletes can thrive. In Senegal, basketball is a sport where a lot of kids play. I, Iba Camara, grew up there and was fortunate enough to take my playing career to the University of New Hampshire and then professionally to Switzerland and France. Unfortunately, my career was cut short from ankle injuries that sprouted from playing with torn and/or no shoes in Senegal.
We are looking to fundraise money in order to make this camp happen. The funds will be used to get our already donated equipment to Senegal, provide food and water to the athletes during the camp, obtaining additional supplies for the camp, and ensuring these young boys and girls are flourishing during the day.
