Gary's Mission to Costa Rica

I want to thank you for taking the time to read this and to be able to share with you something that I am passionate about and that I feel is my calling.
I have been given a chance to go to Costa Rica to do missions work with the homeless, the youth , children and familes as well as go to school with Youth With a Mission (YWAM) in what is called a disclple trainig school(DTS).
Before I continue let me tell you briefly how this came to be. I have lived in Thunder Bay all my life and in 2011 I felt called to go to Ukraine to work with the orphans. It was a 3 week mission trip and I could not imagine how it would change my life. It opened my eyes to see the plight of not only the orphans but that of the youth in todays world. It also created a passion to take part in more missions trips.
Since that time I have been involved in youth ministry in various ways as a youth pastor at Camp Gitchigomee for the past three years, children's ministry at my local church as well as at the Thunder Bay Counselling Center.
It has been a great 3 years and in that time I have still felt the calling to go and do missions. This past summer I was able to go to Costa Rica with a group from my church to take part in youth ministry, children's ministry and a homeless ministry. It was an amazing experience!
Fast forward a few months and I have been given an opportunity to take part in a DTS and missions trip in San Jose, Costa Rica. It is six months, from January to June. It is an opportunity that I am excited to take part in. I look forward to growing in my faith, taking part in helping the people of Costa Rica and following the calling I've felt since Ukraine.
In order to do this I have to leave my job and move to Costa Rica for six months. I will have to raise $6000 for my time down there. My company Gillons Insurance has graciously said that they will match any donation that comes in. For example, if $100 is donated to me they will match it and donate a $100 so a total of $200 will be donated.
I appreciate all the help you can give me and please keep me in your prayers during this time.
