Support Ianto & Linda During This Final Chapter

WHAT IS NEEDED

Help us care for Ianto Evans while he has been placed in hospice. Currently his wife Linda is his sole support system during this precious and difficult time. This is too much for one person with minimal help to handle alone and they need our help. Our goal is to surround Ianto and Linda with care, dignity, companionship, and practical support for whatever time remains.

THE CURRENT SITUATION

Ianto is nearing the end of life this time around on this earthly plane. This past year has been challenging due to Ianto's decline in health, and these last few weeks have taken an extraordinary toll on them both —physically, emotionally, and practically.

We are raising funds to pay caring, and compassionate helpers who can come and provide hands-on support.

For decades, Ianto Evans and Linda Smiley of Cob Cottage have given so much of themselves to the natural building movement. Through their teaching, writing, building, experimentation, and generous sharing of knowledge, they have inspired countless people to think differently about shelter, sustainability, community, and what it means to live more lightly on this Earth.

Disclaimer: The funding goal is an unknown of course, depends on how long Ianto choose to stay in his earth suit. We will keep you updated as the days/weeks progress. All funds will be distributed by Seven Fires Foundation directly to those providing care. Any funds "left over" at the end of Ianto's life, will be either refunded or paid forward in a way to support Cob Cottage Company legacy to Linda as appropriate per donor discretion.
