Hola! Me llamo Ian Gabriel, tengo 3 añitos y soy paciente renal. Soy de Caguas, Puerto Rico. Mi mamá Liz Vázquez, está a cargo de esta página, y estará asegurandose que todas sus donaciones sean utilizadas para mi tratamiento. A los 13 días de nacido fui diagnosticado con Fallo Renal en etapa 5. Soy paciente de diálisis peritoneal y candidato a trasplante. En Noviembre 2025 me realizaron una nefrectomía, para así estar listo para mi trasplante, y también me hicieron un cambio de catéter. Recientemente nos informaron que mi trasplante de riñón no podrá llevarse a cabo en Puerto Rico. Mi caso fue referido a Texas y ya tenemos coordinadora. Próximamente estaremos viajando a Texas para comenzar mis evaluaciones médicas. El propósito de esta recaudación es para cubrir los gastos de mi futuro trasplante de riñón, esto incluye viajes a Texas, medicamentos, tratamiento, cirugía (trasplante), y estadía en el hospital. Hello! My name is Ian Gabriel, I am 3 years old and I have CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease). I'm from Caguas, Puerto Rico. My Mom, Liz Vazquez, is in charge of this account, she's also my caregiver and will be making sure all your kind donations are used for my medical treatment. At 13 days old I was diagnosed with Stage 5 Kidney Failure. I am a peritoneal dialysis patient and a transplant candidate. In November 2025 I had nephrectomy done, so I can be ready for my transplant. Recently we were informed that my kidney transplant cannot be done in Puerto Rico. My case was referred to Texas and we already have a transplant coordinator. In the next few weeks we will be traveling to Texas so I can begin my medical evaluations there. The purpose of this fundraiser, is to cover my future kidney transplant expenses, including: traveling to Texas, medication, treatment, the actual transplant surgery and hospital stay.
