Ian’s Got Stage 4 Colon Cancer

My name is Ian, I’m 41 years old, a father, a brother, a son, and so much more. In August 2023 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer that spread to my liver. In September 2023 I started Chemotherapy. I was put on an intense full strength chemo regiment. Luckily I have been stuck with little side effects. But due to the type of chemo I am receiving I am unable to work. In November 2023 I finished 6 rounds of Chemotherapy and took several weeks to get over the symptoms I had, and build my body back up to prepare for surgery to remove a peach size tumor in my colon located at the junction of the small and large intestine, remove my appendix, to remove the cancer on my liver, and remove my gallbladder. I stayed in the hospital for 7 days. I then spent a few weeks getting my body built back up and ready to continue Chemotherapy for another 6 rounds. I am currently getting ready to finish those round off, with one on April 5, and one on April 19. I will then spend a few weeks getting my body back up to speed so I can get released and go back to work.

I started this GoFundMe to raise funds to help cover basis living needs. I currently have zero income, at the beginning of March my disability ran out. Reaching my goal of $6,000 was what I came up with to afford basis life needs from the beginning while I was getting disability to when I finish my treatments without disability. This money raise is used for things like food, utility bills, and gas to get back and forth to my doctors appointments.
