Ian's charity run fundraising for Arpi

Hi there kind people of the Globe, my name is Eva and I am here to ask your help with a great cause.

Some of you may have already heard of our beloved friend Arpad Fiko's story, the kindest soul you could ever find on the planet.

Arpi was diagnosed with brain tumor in June 2020, had surgery and several therapies ever since. Unfortunately due to the ongoing treatments he received over the past year he is unable to work, he used to work as a self employed DPD courier in Aberdeen city centre.

Last year in June one of his manager started a fundraiser which was a great help releasing at least some of the financial stress that Arpi and his lovely fiancee Julia had to face on top of the worry we could hardly imagine.

This time around one of his dear colleagues Ian McKay had a brilliant and generous idea, that he is willing to dedicate a 'charity run' while doing his own business delivering as many as 300 parcels in 9.5 hours - which should be considered as a new record - on Sunday the 5th of September.

The full profit of Ian's day is going to Arpad. Please rest assured that he will adhere all the necessary safety measures, the company's ssupport and he will not speed on the road, only on his feet:) Also he arranged to have Gergo his employee to help and drive him that day. On that Sunday there will be a form for his colleagues if they want to sponsor them in this great cause.

To further show our support we also decided to set up a fundraiser for Arpi, and Ian's clients also encouraged him to do so as they willing to contribute, bless the good willing people.
