Ian Medina is a 7-year-old little boy from Tifton, Georgia. He was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 2 at 10 months old. He is a student at Len Lastinger Elementary. He loves to play video games. His family lives within a mile of our family. The same sweet provider that cared for Lottie, cares for Ian. They also shared the same physical therapist growing up. Ian, like Lotttie has had back to back hospitalizations in Atlanta for bilateral pneumonia. He was seen today for increased congestion and fever and diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia once again. He was life flighted to CHOA in Atlanta for another hospitalization and required sedation due to low oxygen saturation in order to remain comfortable on the CPAP machine. Let’s show this little guy that we as a community have got his and his family’s back by easing some of their financial burden. Our family has been blessed by the generosity of others and we would like to facilitate this for Ian’s family. Anyone who has ever met Ian knows he’s IAN-CREDIBLE!
