Ian and Correna Woods

Our dear brother-in-law, Sergeant Ian Woods, recently suffered a devastating medical emergency. April 8, 2024 Ian suffered a stroke/brain bleed caused by cerebral amyloid angiopathy while at home. He was quickly taken by ambulance and choppered by Life Flight to Eastern Maine Medical Center. Ian is a loving husband, father of 4, and dedicated member of our community (British Army 1984-1989, Deputy Divisional Commander at Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue HQ 1991-2016, Police Officer 2017-present date,) and who now faces a long and difficult road to recovery.

Ian's unexpected medical expenses, ongoing treatments, and rehabilitation, as well as the family's travel and stay expenses will (and are) putting a significant financial strain on the family. We are reaching out to our friends, family, and community for support during this challenging time.

Your generous donations will help cover the medical costs, rehabilitation therapy, and other essential expenses that Ian and his family will incur during his recovery journey.
