Very sadly our friend Ian passed away after a short battle with Cancer.

Ian, myself and family were supported from the start by the Hospice in Weald at Pembury. They provided so much love, support and compassion throughout Ian journey. They supported in helping us make memories.

As we all know he was the kindest man and always giving and wanted to that continue after he left us.

Ian and myself would really appreciate any donations you would like to make go to supporting this amazing team of people instead of flowers etc. A little way we can continue to help others in such situations as we found ourselves.

There is an incredible team of people working here from doctors, nurses, the hospice ward for inpatients, craft team, healthy living etc just a few of the areas we accessed during this time.

Any donation will be so gratefully received.

More information about Hospice in the Weald: Hospice in the Weald provides care to patients with a terminal illness, their families and carers in West Kent and Northern East Sussex. We are there 24 hours a day to help, support and care for patients with an illness where a cure is no longer possible, or where patients will at some stage die from their illness. The care we provide is completely free of charge to our patients, their families and carers. We are not part of the NHS, and we need to raise 7 million pounds every year to fund our services.
