Ian Moseley was a loving father, brother and friend. He always wanted to make sure that others were happy and always asked how you were doing. His smile lit up a room. He loved making people laugh. He was charming, generous, and imaginative. When he was diagnosed with liver and kidney failure in 2016, he met this challenge in a typical "Ian" fashion: he was determined to beat it. Ian fought valiantly but ultimately lost his battle on October 4, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.
Ian was our brother. He leaves us with so many happy memories of birthdays, holidays, weddings, and family vacations in North Carolina, New Jersey, and Scotland. We will never forget him. We want to honor him and keep his memory alive.
Above all, Ian loved his son Aidan, who started his first semester of college at Appalachian State University this fall. Ian planned on providing for his son’s college education. With the help of Ian’s friends and family, we are committed to making Ian’s wish come true. We have created a Go Fund Me page to help support Aidan’s educational needs. The funds will go directly to a 529 plan in Aidan’s name, which will be used to offset his college expenses. We are heartbroken that Aidan will no longer have his father around. There is no replacing Ian; however, funding this college plan will ease his family’s financial burden.
Thank you so much for your support and generosity.
With much gratitude,
Jessica, Jim, Matt, and Erin
