Ian Fratick’s Recovery

We are starting this gofundme for our friend and family; Ian Fratick. He was in a serious motorcycle accident on May 10th in Hollister Missouri. A vehicle hit him at an intersection, and he was thrown through the windshield of the vehicle who hit him. He stopped breathing on scene and thankfully was resuscitated with the help of an amazing off duty paramedic and a local police officer. He was taken to Springfield and went into emergency surgery to fix what they could in order to stabilize him. He lost a lot of blood and was resuscitated again during surgery. They were able to stabilize him, but they believe he will have more surgeries in the future and a very long recovery period.

 

His injuries include; a closed head injury, right pneumothorax, pulmonary contusion, scapula fracture, elbow avulsion, ulnar nerve transection, knee injury and shin avulsion. 

 

 Ian is a hardworking and dedicated father. This accident is going to require him to take a lot of time off work to recover. Any help would be greatly appreciated and will be used towards bills and things his children may need.
