Ian Deloach Has A Kidney Donor! Ernesto Rivas!

Donation protected
Ernesto Rivas is Ian Deloach's Kidney Donor!

Ian Deloach, son of Yvonne "Bamm" Eres Nuss and Jeff Deloach, grandson of Emma Puentes Eres and Narciso Eres, was diagnosed with low functioning double kidney failure.  Since May, 2019 , the search for a donor began.

Recently, a friend, Ernesto Rivas began his quest to become that donor.  Unbeknown to Ian, he registered, found he was a match, and proceeded with a rigid testing process.  He has selflessly committed to become Ian's "kidney brother".  There is a tentative surgery date of January 29th, 2020.  This photo was taken on the evening that Ernesto and Jennifer went to share the news with Ian and Susan.

This is his story:
"I will be donating my kidney to a great friend and loving father, Ian Brook DeLoach..When I found out I was the same blood type, I knew deep down inside that I wanted to see if I was a match to be a donor.  Having children is not in the cards for Jennifer and myself.  My biggest inspiration aside from Ian and Susan were his sons..I wanted to do what I could to see Ian and his boys run around and share amazing experiences together.  I got closer to God over time and he has been guiding me down this path for a while, every journey over time has led to this moment. I am so ready to do this and my heart is at peace.  Much love for the DeLoach family..
Kidney Bros 4 life!"

There are no words to express our thankfulness and gratitude to Ernesto and his wife Jennifer for the sacrifice and gift of life about to be made.

Our goal is to provide financial assistance to the Rivas for lost wages and miscellaneous expenses  as Ernesto will be unable to work throughout his recovery period.  There is no way to place a price on the ultimate gift of life that Ernesto is giving Ian.

A donation, none too small, will be so greatly appreciated. Donations will help support the family through this monumental time.

We recognize that not everyone is in a position to make a financial contribution so we ask that you please share Ian and Ernesto's  story with as many friends and family through social media, email, or any means possible.

Ian and Ernesto have a lengthy road to recovery ahead of them and with your support we can ease the delicate journey that lies ahead.

Again, we thank you for your support.  We will post updates as we learn of them.

Sincerely,

Ian's Family and Friends
