Ian Broeker's Medical Bills

This past weekend, on Saturday, 12/9, my oldest brother, Ian Broeker, was admitted to the hospital with kidney failure. This came as a complete shock. We didn't get to see him on Thanksgiving because he wasn't feeling well, but we had no idea it was anything worse than the flu or maybe a bad cold.

In the days since, the doctors have been working to stabilize him, figure out the cause, and hopefully get his kidneys functioning again. In the meantime, we are hoping to raise money both for any short-and long-term medical bills, but also to cover the lost wages for Ian and for his wife, Micki, so she can be with him at the hospital and for whatever may come after.

Any amount that you can contribute will be tremendously appreciated. Ian and Micki are two of the best people I have ever been fortunate enough to know--anyone who has met them could speak to their kindness and generosity. This can be a tough time of year for many people, and not a time when many have a lot of money to spare, but any amount will help. Thank you.
