It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved dad, husband, and grandfather, Ian Bowyer (Bow) on Christmas Day, 25th December.

Ian was a truly special man, devoted husband to Bev, a loving father, a proud and adored grandfather, and a warm, kind-hearted person whose gentle humour and big heart touched everyone he met. He brought light and laughter to so many lives and will be sadly missed by Bev, his children, grandchildren, family, and all who knew him.

The funeral service will take place on Friday 23rd January at 11am at St James’ Church, Brassington followed by burial at Brassington Cemetery.

Family flowers only please, but donations in Ian’s memory to Brassington FC & Brassington Friends of Forces (BFOF) would be greatly appreciated.
