Ian and Allison Flood Damage Relief

Hello everyone, thank you for taking the time to view our page. Usually, we would not ask for help like this, but the damages from the recent historic flood in STL have cut off our primary sources of income and destroyed most of our property.

My name is Ian Cooper, and I live with my partner Allison Kester. Last Tuesday, 07/26/2022, we woke up to find the following:

By 7:15 AM, there was an inch of water throughout the apartment. Looking out the window, we saw what looked like a river between our building and the next:

Both of our cars incurred severe damage. Allison's car was totaled, and we are currently working on salvaging my own. Unfortunately, flooding was NOT covered by our insurance, and we lost most of our personal property.

We will need to refurnish our apartment and get professional cleaning and detailing service done to my car in addition to mechanical work. Fortunately, we were able to find shelter, and we are currently staying with family while the apartment is being sanitized and fixed.

We are so fortunate to have so many people who have reached out to help us. Whether or not you can assist, we are forever grateful to our friends and family who keep us afloat (literally).
