Hello Everyone ! Delaney here, Chapter Leader of I Am That Girl at IMG Academy. I AM THAT GIRL is helping girls transform self-doubt in to self-love by providing a safe space to connect and have honest conversations about things that matter. Girls are bombarded with messages that attack their actions, looks, ways of thinking, and that make judgements on what she is NOT. We work to help her love who SHE IS, to see all the positives in herself, and to empower her to inspire the same in others. We decided to bring an I Am That Girl Local Chapter to IMG Academy and it has been such a great experience for the girls!
This fundraiser is to bring Alexis Jones, the founder of I Am That Girl to come to our school and speak for us for our "Speaker of the Month." Leveraging her entertainment background as a vehicle to empower youth, Alexis launched I AM THAT GIRL, and quickly became an internationally recognized speaker, media personality, activist, and author.
