It's been 16 months since I launched "Michelle's Multicolored Dream Project" This vision of many colors, empowered me to share my love of life, family and friendship through the gift of music and live performance. I am truly grateful, grace=filled and humbled to have been blessed to share in such a unique and spirit-filled experience. And I'd like to take this time to simply say...THANK YOU to all of those who gave, prayed and stayed with me through the process.

It is now January 2015
Those of you who know me well know that I have made a lot of changes in my thinking over the past few years. In stillness, prayer, and meditation I have gained more clarity on where I am headed with this life of ministry I have been blessed to know. And I've given much attention to how I can best focus my energy to become the best version of myself and thus, be a greater blessing to others whom I touch along my journey of ascension. So, divine inspiration has given way to sharper vision and purpose concerning my life, my ministry and my music. Which now brings me to this next GoFundMe Project opportunity, fittingly titled:
"I AM Michelle"
So what is the , "I AM Michelle" funding opportunity all about? Simply put, it's about letting go of conventional, systemic thinking and the laws of this world and instead, fully embracing the sprititual law of the Universe that has taught me: give without expexctation and you will receive in abundance, love without condition and love will abound and surround you, believe and fear not and no harm will come to you, trust and the Creator will lead you in paths of truth, goodness, joy, patience, peace, mercy and grace.
What does that mean in real life practice?
Well, first it means I have let go of the idea that it is even possible to put a manmade $$$ value on the gifts I have been called to steward. For the gift, I recognize, is so much more than musical talent. I know this because the Creator has used this gift to bless others even when my actual "singing" was not all that great! LOL I know this too, because when I preach and teach, the words that come out of me are inspired and divine and beyond my own practical ability and understanding. I know this because when I write, the words and melodies, whether lyric or prose, flow from me without striving or methodology or technical skill set. And I know this because when I am ministering to someone who is hurting or in despair, it is the Creator filling my mouth with words of truth, hope and deliverance; revealing the desire of the Spirit through me without my even asking. Yes, I know it is the Spirit working in me and through me, to bless, to heal, to encourage, and to give glory back to the Creator from whence it came. Now how can one put a price on that?
So I have emancipated myself from the bondage of the "business" of "show" business; for I've known all along that this gift was always about the Creator's gift to me and not some self-cultivated ability meant to be exploited, quantified, or valued and devalued by the minds and machinations of men.
Secondly, it means I have come full circle, and back to the place where I can just make music for the pure joy, peace, healing, comfort and feeling of purpose it gives to me. When that is the starting place there is no flaw, no error, no imperfection, no exploitation, nor judgment. It is just me being me in the world; to give and to receive life and love; hence the project title "I AM Michelle".
And that awareness means that I AM FREE! ... Free to explore all the opportunities and possibilities that this God-given, grace-filled gift can offer. And, because it is what I am meant to do, I can release to it fully and trust that the Universe will provide for my needs in response to the love, care and enthusiasm with which I freely share it.
Now does that mean that I'm no longer singing professionally? NO! It means I'm singing and writing and creating with full confidence that the Spirit will lead me to all opportunities where blessings abound. Does it mean I'm singing for free? Quite possibly... if that is how it unfolds. As the Spirit has affirmed over and over again...let go and see "I AM".
So the "I AM Michelle" Fund is about giving if you want to give, giving if you feel lead to give. It's about blessings and it's about opportunity. Who knows, you may have wanted me to sing for an event but been afraid you could not afford to pay me. Now you can let go of that fear and give me a call; for I AM Open...to give and receive and share in this natural exchange of life.
Now I'm a moderately old bird so I know the world is full of takers and beaters. Therefore, I know there will be times when someone may seek to exploit my giving freely of myself in such a way. Afterall, according to this world, my talent is worth a pretty penny on the "showbiz" market. But I trust that with the help of my friends I will receive enough financial support to balance out those worldly scenarios. For how can anyone beat me out of what I freely give? Right?
In addition, I am taking the next 6 months to complete a book I am writing on the subject "Letting Go: How to be in the world but not of the world". This book is birthed of my own life journey and realization that when one rejects the hype of the worldly system, one can live a fuller, more fulfilling life of peace, joy and abundance.
Your contribution to the "I AM Michelle" Fund will help empower me with time to write that book and have it published. It will also enable me to offer my talents (singing, teaching and inspirational speaking) at little or no cost to organizations that may have limited resources to pay market value for those talents. Or if you happen to be an event sponsor or producer, you can keep your event budget low by soliciting others to donate to the "I AM Michelle" Fund in lieu of direct payment made to me from your organization.
