Back in April, my wife and I went to Italy for a work trip that we’d been planning since last August. It doubled as our anniversary trip. I’ll be real—I didn’t plan well for what would happen after the trip financially. That’s on me. When we got back, one of our cars died. And right when we were trying to scrape together the money to fix it, our bank account got hit with a bunch of fraudulent charges. We opened it one day and it was just...gone. Overdrawn by $400, and it made no sense.

From there, things just started spiraling. We shut down the card and tried opening a new account, but I couldn’t even verify anything because our phone bill hadn’t been paid and the service got cut off. I couldn’t access logins, couldn’t get paid. I had just stepped into doing social media full-time, thinking the ad revenue would carry us for a bit, but those payouts have been delayed too. We’ve been trying to juggle everything and keep up, but then last Thursday, our second car died. So now we’re without both vehicles, behind on bills, and stretched to the limit.

I’m not looking for pity, profit, or anything like that. I’m just trying to get us back to zero. Right now we’re $7,633 behind—between stolen money, car repairs, and bills that piled up over the last couple months. If you feel led to help, thank you. And if not, I understand. Just putting it out there, being real about where we’re at. I’m more than happy to show receipts or proof if anyone needs it. I just want to get our family stable again.
