Story

I am writing my story... I am Nour Al-Khawaja, 29 years old, residing in Gaza, Palestine. Our family faces severe challenges due to ongoing conflict and hardship in our region. The situation in Gaza has deteriorated significantly. We are facing the repercussions of war, economic challenges, and scarcity of basic resources. Our daily existence is characterized by fear and unpredictability, making our future seem uncertain. Hence, we are seeking assistance to leave Gaza in search of a more promising life. Throughout this conflict, we have had to flee our home several times, suffering from lack of food, water and electricity. We are exposed to the prevailing conditions of health risks, as many people become ill due to contamination in food and drinking water. Our family consists of 3 people, me, my husband and our 4-year-old child. Our son has also become very terrified and afraid, so we want to escape from Gaza. The cost of our entry into Egypt exceeded about 50 thousand euros to cover basic needs such as food, shelter and clothing. Attached is a picture showing the destruction that occurred in Gaza
