Just yesterday, I nearly lost my mom and dad in a tragic fire that claimed our home, family pets and absolutely everything else we owned. Growing up, my parents always worked in places that paid little to nothing, had harsh conditions and unsanitary facilities, but they had to do it in order to provide for our family. My siblings and I are pulling together and drawing strength from one another to get through these hard times. I am a struggling student who works part time as a server making just enough to pay for my parents' diabetic medication but barely being able to afford the proper necesseties they require. I ask that if anyone could, please help my family by contributing whatever you can to put us in a new home.
