Our first recipient named Kia had been in a skiing accident in 2010, breaking many bones in her face.  She spent months in the hospital with her mouth wired shut.  After being released from the hospital she was advised to seek dental care for her teeth.  She was unable to afford dental care and did not go.  Through our organization she was able to get the care she so desperately needed.
