My family in the photo consists of my beautiful wife, and seven year old son, and myself.  I am 32 years old and found out about 5 years ago that I had end stage cirrhosis of the liver.  The doctors performed a biopsy of my liver to determine the cause of my cirrhosis and it came up, "inconclusive."  Since the five year discovery, my liver has become worse and my MELD score has risen to the highest right now at a score of 30(scores range from 6 - 40).  At this point, the only option I have is liver transplant. 

 I lost my father in 2007 and luckily he got to see his first grandchild.  I have a picture of him holding my son, which I will always cherish.  I must have a liver transplant if I want to continue my life and be there for my son and wife.  I want more time with them, because now I would feel short changed, if it ended now.   

This isn't something that I would usually do, because I am not the type of person who wants free handouts.  I am doing this for my family, especially for my wife.  My family has been through so many procedures, hospital trips, doctor visits, and trying to manage the every day normal activities.  My family can't do everything by themselves and we don’t have deep pockets.
