Bennetta N. Massaquoi is a young Liberian who is in dire need of a kidney transplant. She has been struggling with chronic kidney disease for many years now but now requires a transplant to save her life. Due to the lack of medical facilities to care in Liberia, she is currently in Accra, Ghana on dialysis 3 days a week for 4 hours. The family funds have been exhausted and unfortunately, there's no insurance to cover expenses for the transplant and post-transplant medical expenses, which would cost thousands of dollars per month! The hopeful part of this rather gloomy situation is that Benetta has a kidney donor.
Throughout this crisis, Benetta has fought hard to further her education. She is a graduate of the College of West Africa class of 2000. She also obtained an undergraduate degree from the University of Liberia and a Master in Public Health degree from Cuttington University, all in Liberia.
She was born unto the union of Mr. & Mrs. Benjamin G. Massaquoi (mother is deceased). Bennetta is a mother with one son: Hermond Ben Nicky Dennis and is the sister of Benjamin Teddy Massaquoi.
Please help save a life by contributing toward this fund to cover Bennetta's medical expenses.
