As you all know, our Police Academy classmate David Harris was killed in an automobile accident on March 14, 2014 as he headed home to his family after he finished his tour of duty. The loss that we have felt as those who knew him and worked with him on a daily basis has been great, however many of you may not know about the family Dave was taken from on that tragic night.

Dave and his wife Sandra were the proud parents of David, age 11, and Caleb, age 10 when Dave was killed. Dave's boys meant everything to him and he worked each and everyday to ensure that his boys had all they needed to be successful young men. When Dave was taken from them, a large hole was left in their lives.

While we cannot bring Dave back to his family, we can perform this small deed of giving Sandra additional funding to make sure the boys have a Christmas to remember, not for the loss of their father but for the Christmas their mother provided for them.
