I'm raising money for my big sister. My entire life, she's been looking out for me. Now, it's my turn to return the favor. My sister lives 12 hours away from me, her family, and a big portion of her support system. Thankfully, fundraising can happen anywhere!
On Monday, December 2, while driving to work, Andi Gearheart was in a traffic accident that had her airlifted to VCU Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia. With three broken ribs, three broken lower vertebrae, a damaged kidney, and surgery to remove her perforated spleen, Andi's long road to recovery is just beginning.
With the effects of lost wages for Andi, her husband, Dale, our dad, Dave (who just so happened to be visiting Andi from Indiana), two kids, the holidays, medical expenses, fuel for the 80 mile drive from their home to the hospital, etc., they can certainly use some financial support. With most of us being too far away to take over a casserole, maybe we can raise a little money, instead.
