Funding Vanessa to Better Health

On October 27th, 2014, Vanessa was rushed to the hospital after having a seizure at work. Once they arrived by ambulance, then a battery of tests, this wonderful person was informed that she had a brain tumor (Anaplastic Astrocytoma). Surgery went well but her family and friends were devastated to find out that the tumor was cancerous. Everyone immediately knew after hearing the doctor's report, the battle Vanessa had ahead of her. Vanessa has begun chemotherapy as well as radiation to aggressively fight the cancer.
Along with the cancer diagnosis Vanessa was also informed that due to her status of tenure with her current company she was notified that her employer contributions would be removed. Now the full monthly costs of healthcare fall on her shoulders. As you can imagine she is now faced with medical expenses, living expenses, along with everyday bills that don't magically disappear when you are given such a diagnosis. She is unable to work until May 2015 at the earliest and in need of some assistance. When things like this happen people are often stressed with finances when ultimately they should be able to focus soley on recovery.
Vanessa is one of the most caring, devoted, thoughtful friends to all who know her. She's the friend that would drop everything just to be there for others in a time of need. Vanessa lights up the room when she walks in with her dazzling smile. Even during this time her sparkling personality continues to shine bright and deliver happiness to others. She is a fighter and is ready to kick cancer's a$$.
Any donation towards her recovery is greatly appreciated. Even a small contribution is impactful. The goal is to help her financially through May. This will give her the greatest chance to be as strong as she can be while she successfully defeats this devastating disease.
