Helen's Study Abroad to Japan!

I'm Helen Bradberry, a sophomore at Georgia Regents University majoring in Television and Cinema with an aspiring minor in Women's and Gender Studies. You still there? Good! I'm raising funds to help offset the costs of my study abroad trip to Japan this summer and I need your help.
The trip is a part of a film class I'm taking this spring: Japanese Genre Film. The class is covers smaurai, kaiju, and yakuza films of the 1960s. While on the trip, I will be experiencing areas of Japanese film (The Ghibli Museum, The National Film Center), learning from Japanese filmmakers, and visiting notable areas of Tokyo and Kyoto. I'm contributing $500 of my own money and earned a small scholarship specifically for study abroad. I have a part time job which will cover my personal expenses while on the trip.
In addition to school and work, I volunteer as a victim advocate for Rape Crisis and Sexual Assault Services. I enjoy movies, baking, running, listening to music, and going to shows. I love, love my animals; I have 2 dogs and 2 cats.
I would greatly appreciate any donation! Any amount!
