I'm Loving Memory of Evelyn Delgado

Help us with giving Evelyn the celebration of life she deserves.  As the family struggles with the unexpected passing of a loving mother, sister, grandma and significant other. Evelyn was a great mother of three children who she raised independently. A mother that played both mommy and daddy to her children, someone who made a little into alot for her children and family.  She was the rock the one that kept the siblings close and secure. As the family is taking the lost of Evelyn very hard not to mention just a few months ago Evelyn and her two remaining children had to say their goodbyes to Evelyn's oldest son, now their goodbyes to her. Family will be accepting any form of donation and prayer. Below I'll quote the last words from Evelyn's youngest son and oldest daughter.

Lost my best friend today. My momma. I am going to miss our long conversations. I could talk to her about anything and she would listen. She never judged me. Ever! No matter what I did. She was a strong and courageous women who raised 3 kids on her own. We struggled, but she did her best to provide for us. I respect her for that! She taught me how to cook. And even while in the hospital, sick, she was still giving me her recipes. Which was something she had always done. I am going to miss her hugs. Her kisses. The sound of her voice. Her smile. Her cute sense of humor. Her giving heart. It breaks my heart that she's gone. Her and my brother Angel are now together. Wherever they are I hope they are happy and pain free. Rest in peace Momma I love you forever and ever December 15th 1963-October 15th 2020

From losing my brother to now losing mom it has really been a tough year for me but situations like this you gotta be a strong or else you will fall into a path of self destruction.. I'm glad mom showed me how to be that strong person no matter what the situation and I'm grateful she was such a great mom to me and my siblings.. She will always be the strongest woman to me in my eyes.. Having to raise three children on her own and work extra hours at her job and still manage to come home and be a loving caring mother at the same time.. I'm going to always cherish my time and moments I had with her. All the times I helped her cook and do laundry as a kid to a adult to the times she was around of me for making honors in school making her proud and just seeing the look on her face.. I grew up without a father figure but my mom taught me how to be a man and also a responsible caring person.. I just wish I had more time to be with her on this planet. But tell next time I know I'll see her again one day.

R.I.P. mom I'll always love you
